The Stradbroke Marquee is the GV’s signature function space. This light-filled, purpose-built marquee looks out over Moreton Bay and gives you privacy, flexibility and coastal views in one place. It works for everything from weddings and milestone birthdays to conferences and celebrations of life, with your own bar, amenities and built-in AV so every detail is covered.

For smaller groups, the Stradbroke Marquee splits in two. You can choose the bay side, with its calm water views, or the venue side, close to the buzz of the bar. Each half is a stylish, semi-private space with its own screen, sound system, microphone and dedicated restrooms. It’s ideal for intimate celebrations, meetings and breakout sessions.

For larger groups, open the Cleveland Room onto its leafy courtyard for an easy indoor-outdoor flow. Heritage French doors lead out to fairy-lit frangipani trees and bay breezes. It’s a relaxed setting for intimate weddings, milestone celebrations, memorials and corporate days that end with drinks under the open sky. Portable AV are available if required.

The Cleveland Room is full of the GV’s heritage charm. Its original French doors open onto the courtyard and fill the room with soft natural light. It’s warm, refined and just the right size for private dining, intimate celebrations, boardroom meetings and memorial gatherings, with a portable TV, speaker and microphone for slideshows and speeches.

Shaded by the GV’s iconic mango tree, the Mango Terrace is a relaxed, semi-private space in the heart of the venue. Soft lighting and bay breezes set an easygoing mood, and the bar, bistro and kids’ play area are just steps away. It’s ideal for family celebrations, team lunches and gatherings to remember a loved one, with a portable speaker and microphone for speeches.

Say “I do” with Moreton Bay as your backdrop, here at the GV or at GJ Walter Park, the Cleveland Point Lighthouse or Raby Bay Beach. Every package includes your choice of arbour with drapery and themed silk flowers, plus a jute runner, a signing table and chairs, and seating for 10. We even take care of the council permit, so you can simply enjoy the moment.
