LAUNCHING SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27TH

Get the diary out and make a standing appointment. The last Sunday of every month, the GV beer garden becomes the place to be, and it starts like any other Sunday. A cold drink, a late lunch, a good chat. Somewhere around the first singalong you’ll notice you’re standing up with a drink in hand and no plans to sit back down. That’s Sunday Sounds.

Clash of the Keys
Two pianos, two players, no setlist, one afternoon of requests and endless singalongs. If you’ve caught it before, you know. If you haven’t, this is the one you’ll be talking about on Monday.

Geed Up
Big harmonies, bigger dance moves and a setlist built to get the whole venue on its feet. Equal parts gig and comedy show, and an easy favourite with anyone who’s seen them.

From 2pm, pick your Sunday, grab your people and settle in for an afternoon that starts relaxed and finishes loud. Free entry. Bookings encouraged, walk-ins always welcome.

Wet Weather Policy
If it rains, this event moves to the Stradbroke Marquee. Please note the marquee has limited capacity, with a mix of high and low seating. As this is a free event, expect more standing room and high bars for singing and dancing, rather than sit-down tables for dining. If you’d prefer to dine, we recommend booking a table in the Dining Terrace instead.

Important Note: If the event goes ahead in the Beer Garden, you’ll still hear the music from the Dining Terrace. But if it moves to the Stradbroke Marquee, you won’t. Keep this in mind if you’re booking the Dining Terrace with the intention of being part of the event.
