This July, the GV is doing what it does best – bringing people together for something genuinely worth showing up for.

The GV Sportsman’s Lunch is a full afternoon of great food, cold drinks, and real stories from athletes who’ve actually done it. We’re transforming the Stradbroke Marquee into a premium event space, and we’re bringing in a lineup that’ll have the room hanging off every word.

On the panel: NRL Dolphins star and Kiwi International Jamayne Isaako, former NSW Blues representative Daniel Saifiti, and UFC fighter Justin Tafa. Three athletes, three careers, one room – with an MC pushing the conversation well beyond the highlight reel.

Here’s what your afternoon looks like:

Arrive from 12.30pm, grab a beer and settle in. Kick back with arrival drinks and good company, then take your seat for a shared banquet lunch with a 3-hour beverage package included. From there, your panel gets going – stories, behind-the-scenes moments, and an open Q&A that puts you in the room with people who’ve played and fought at the highest level. Throw in a raffle and live auction with the proceeds going to local counselling and mental health service Tackling Life, and you’ve got yourself a proper afternoon.
