At Grand View, community isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we actively support. From weekly raffles that help local groups raise much-needed funds, to longer-term partnerships that give back to not-for-profit organisations, we’re proud to play a small part in supporting the people and causes that make our community so special.

Few things say “local pub” quite like a Friday afternoon meat raffle, and ours are every week from 4pm.

Our Friday Meat Raffles are a fun, easy way for community groups, clubs, schools and organisations to raise funds, while enjoying a great afternoon at the pub. Each week, a different local group hosts the raffle, with proceeds going directly back into their cause. Whether you’re rallying your members, bringing in friends and family, or just love the idea of heading home with a meat tray under your arm, everyone’s welcome.

Giving back doesn’t have to be complicated, sometimes it’s as simple as pouring a drink.

Pour with Purpose, in partnership with Alby, is our ongoing initiative supporting local not-for-profit organisations in a meaningful and accessible way. Every few months, once the jars are full, three community organisations are nominated and opened up to public voting in Dr. Bob’s Front Bar.

Here’s how it works: simply purchase an Alby, receive a voting token, and drop it into one of the three jars to cast your vote. The organisation with the most votes will receive $300, while the remaining two finalists will each take home $100, helping support the important work happening in our local community. It’s a simple, hands-on way for our community to get involved, have their say, and help direct funds where they’re needed most.
