The renovation crew has been busy behind the scenes — and it’s finally starting to feel real as some of the key areas take shape. Here’s a look at what’s been happening around the venue this month:
Reno Update 13/06/25
LOUNGE BAR
The Lounge Bar is officially in the thick of it. With everything now boarded up and freshly painted, the space is prepped and ready for the next stage of the transformation. It might not look like much just yet, but soon enough this will be your go-to spot for a drink — whether you’re ordering your first wine of the afternoon, chatting to the crew behind the bar, or settling in for a few rounds with mates. The full fit-out is now underway and things are about to move quickly!
FRONT BAR
Dr Bob’s is coming back to life, with a fresh coat of paint giving the old public bar a bit of a tidy up. We’re keeping it true to what it’s always been — no frills, just a proper spot for a few cold schooners, catching up with the crew, or sneaking in a quick punt at the TAB. The big stuff starts next week when the full fit-out gets underway, but for now, it’s already starting to feel like home again.
BATHROOMS
Let’s be honest — the bathrooms were well overdue for an upgrade. Tiling has officially started in the newly renovated bathrooms, and we can’t wait to see them fully finished. Clean, modern, and a much-needed refresh for everyone.
OUTSIDE
While a lot of the action outdoors isn’t as glamorous (think underground services, pipes and trenches), these essential works are now wrapping up — clearing the way for the bigger milestones ahead. Up next: pouring the kitchen and terrace slabs, kicking off the carpark works, and starting to see the full layout take shape.
